I feel like I say it every year but, that year just flew! Even though it felt like it was over in the blink of an eye, we sure did pack it full of new projects and adventures.
The mix of projects that we had the opportunity to work on was incredible. A lot of fun (and hard work) was had putting the pieces of the puzzles together for our clients. It would be too hard to list them all so here are a few of the standout jobs and events we had the pleasure of being a part of this year.
A few members of the team headed south to the annual International Melbourne Flower Show where the rubbed shoulders with the who's who of gardening and got to take in some of the breathtaking displays on show.
Post office square welcomed a new eatery, Isles Lane. A fantastic place to catch up with friends and colleagues. We had the opportunity of adding the final touch to the establishment with lush greenery and features pots.
We had a riverfront view while completing the refurbishment of the gardens at Riverplace Apartments. Creating a beautiful outdoor space for the residents to retreat to.
We attended the royal wedding.
Our love of green walls was taken to the next level when we took over the garden maintenance at the iconic Jimmy's on the Mall.
We created a tropical oasis at Cleveland featuring some extremely rare plants.
Our reflection garden at the Queensland Garden Expo took out first place.
We sharpened our team work skills and pushed ourselves out of our comfort zones at our annual team day.
Makeovers was the flavour of the year as we spruced up some of our existing clients' gardens.
Another soon to be iconic establishment Beirne Lane opened their doors in the Fortitude Valley and we were there to add just the right amount of greenery.
We frocked up and headed to the annual Landscape Queensland Construction Excellence Awards where we were recognised as finalists on 6 occasions.
And celebrated the year that was sailing around Moreton Bay.
An incredible year with my Brooke's Blooms family, 2019 has a lot to live up to.
