How can we help?

Our most frequently asked questions.

At Brooke’s Blooms we’re about so much more than landscape design, construction and garden maintenance.
We’re about creating a lifestyle and garden you love.

What type of jobs do you do?

We manage landscape designs, construction and ongoing garden maintenance projects across South East Queensland. We’re also able to do landscape design jobs remotely for interstate clients.

No job is too big or too small, really. Our team have the skills, experience and knowledge to tackle any challenge. And most importantly, they’re happy to help.

We love the variety that comes from working on achieving the perfect length of grass for our lawn-mowing clients one day to creating full-scale garden design and landscape projects the next. And we deliver the same level of service and quality to every single one of our clients.

Wondering how we can help you? Get in touch with us today.

How much does landscape design cost?

The cost of the design depends on the size of your project. Small courtyards and city blocks tend to be less involved than larger rural properties with acres to cover. Read more about our services or get in touch for a custom quote.

How long does a consultation take?

Your first onsite consultation will take around 30 to 60 minutes depending on how big your garden is and how much you’re hoping to achieve. But you get so much more than an hour of conversation.

Once we understand your problems, ideas, needs and tastes we spend whatever time is required researching and developing a report that will bring new life to your garden.

What do your consultation reports include?

We don’t believe in template garden designs or horticulture solutions. Every single Brooke’s Blooms project begins as a blank canvas.

Whether it’s a horticultural consultation to help your garden to flourish, or a garden design consultation to bring your dream garden to life, we take the time and care to create a comprehensive report that is perfect for you and your needs.

Horticultural Reports

Our horticultural reports give you deep insight into your garden, and includes an itemised list of issues plus recommendations for improvement. Your report might include:

  • Turf advice
  • Plant identification

Why should I engage a landscape or garden designer?

Often when designing a garden, you don’t know what’s possible. We do.

Engaging a landscape or garden designer helps you to create a custom-designed space that is suited to your home, your environmental conditions and your lifestyle. We can help you choose the layout, landscape finishes and plants with the look you want while balancing against positional requirements, soil quality, water availability and climate considerations. We’ll also make sure you know how to care for your plants on an ongoing basis, such as pruning and fertilising needs.

Why do I need a garden maintenance program?

In today’s busy life, keeping on top of the gardening can quickly become one more chore. We want you to enjoy your beautiful garden, not spend all your time seeing the weeds, the branches that need pruning, the pest damage and everything else. When you engage us for ongoing garden maintenance, you can enjoy the feeling that comes from knowing your garden is being taken care of. All you need to do is relax.
