To transform a view-facing outdoor area into a private sanctuary without interrupting the Brisbane city and mountain outlook. The design also needed to manage harsh western sun while integrating with the existing tropical garden style.
Brooke’s Blooms created a layered outdoor space using custom-shaped crazy paved steppers, landscape mounds, a fire pit zone and a reclaimed timber arbour. Tropical planting was carefully positioned to preserve the view, with Calatheas, Thunbergia vines, a feature palm, Dioons and a water feature adding softness, shade, movement and atmosphere.
A distinctive garden sanctuary that feels both modern and natural. The finished space frames the view, creates places to gather and adds depth, texture and calm through considered material choices and tropical planting.
