To create a landscape that felt deeply connected to the natural beauty of Currumbin Valley for our credible clients Isabelle Mathers and Harrison Musumeci. The project needed to soften the architecture, respond to the surrounding Gold Coast hinterland setting and transform an overlooked rear outdoor area into a more meaningful and considered part of the home.
Brooke’s Blooms approached the landscape as an extension of the home and its natural surroundings. Rather than treating the garden as a decorative layer, the design focused on creating a stronger relationship between architecture, outdoor living and the landscape beyond. The rear area of the property was reimagined as a more purposeful outdoor space, with the design direction centred on softness, connection to place and a natural transition between the built form and the Currumbin Valley setting.
A completed residential landscape that feels grounded, calm and connected to its environment. The project brings greater purpose to the rear outdoor area while helping the home sit more naturally within its hinterland surrounds, creating a softer and more considered relationship between architecture and landscape.
