The Challenge

To create a lush tropical garden in Arana Hills that felt immersive, relaxed and connected to its natural bushland outlook. The project needed to balance a curated outdoor lifestyle with practical circulation, layered planting and ongoing maintenance to keep the garden healthy, detailed and beautifully presented.

Brooke's Blooms Solution

Brooke’s Blooms created a tropical oasis using layered foliage, existing bamboo and a rich mix of Calathea lutea, Heliconia, Philodendrons and Liriope ‘Emerald Cascade’. Contemporary concrete floating steps and circular stepping stones guide movement through the garden, leading to a crazy paved fire pit area designed for gathering and retreat. Carefully selected furniture and ornamentation completed the space, giving the garden a cohesive and curated feel.

The Result

A lush, textural garden that feels calm, tropical and deeply connected to its bushland setting. The finished landscape creates a series of inviting outdoor moments, from the floating steps through to the fire pit, while ongoing maintenance supports plant health, detailing and long-term presentation.
