To transform the Brisbane home of Josh Dunkley, Brisbane Lions player and Brooke’s Blooms club connection, into a functional, character-filled outdoor space. The garden needed to better connect the rear deck, lawn, pool and entertaining areas while respecting the home’s Queenslander charm.
Brooke’s Blooms created a layered landscape with stadium steps, curved Corten steel edging, generous lawn, vibrant garden borders and a feature Olive tree. Polished concrete steppers with Dichondra connect the pool to the home, while a curved Millboard deck extension, feature pots and a herb and vegetable garden add warmth, usability and personality.
A relaxed, highly personal garden designed for everyday living, entertaining and recovery at home. The finished landscape creates better flow between spaces, supports outdoor connection and brings a warm, Brisbane character to a home with strong ties to the Lions community.
