The Challenge

To create and continue refining a sophisticated Fig Tree Pocket landscape that felt connected to the home, private from the street and generous for family living. One year on from the initial design and build, the next stage focused on strengthening the garden’s arrival experience, outdoor entertaining areas, pool surrounds and long-term sense of cohesion.

Brooke's Blooms Solution

Brooke’s Blooms designed and built a refined traditional landscape using premium finishes, structured planting and carefully planned outdoor zones. Stage two elevated the front garden with Lagerstroemia ‘Natchez’, Tabernaemontana ‘Little Emerald’, stone-clad edging and Syzygium ‘Straight and Narrow’ screening underplanted with trailing Rosemary. Travertine paths with grey cobblestone borders connected the entry, while the secondary alfresco was brought to life with a defined arbour, outdoor barbeque and Wisteria vine. Around the pool, travertine tiling, Millboard decking, Tristaniopsis ‘Luscious’, Agapanthus, Salvia, Buddleia and Ilex crenata added structure, texture and year-round interest.

The Result

A beautifully settled, highly detailed landscape that feels sophisticated, timeless and deeply connected to the home. From the gatehouse and front garden through to the alfresco, driveway and pool area, each element now works together to support the clients’ lifestyle with privacy, elegance, natural beauty and traditional garden structure.
