The Year That Was...

2020 was certainly not the year we expected it to be, however even amid a global pandemic our expectations were once again exceeded.

We started the year off with a bang! With some fresh faces joining our team and our design team growing we were able to expand on our skill set and were able to be apart of some projects we previously didn't have the capacity for. This was challenging at first but with the love and care of our Brookes Blooms family we were able to lift each other to greater heights.

But little did we know that we would be gripped with a global pandemic early in the year. We as a business came together and restructured how we conducted our work to ensure we kept each other safe. Our clients and Community were so supportive and accommodating and for that we are so grateful and appreciative. We all did what we had to do to ensure every one of our staff, clients and also the people within our communities were kept safe. Our safety procedures were adjusted and we continued on.

Although this was an unprecedented time for us all, here at Brookes Blooms we experienced a huge growth and were presented with some incredible opportunities. Our team and business came out bigger and better than ever.

The annual Brookes Blooms team day wasn't forgotten amidst all the uncertainty. The team got down and dirty as they tackled the 9km obstacle course with over 50 obstacles to work through. The team showed their strength and resilience once again using their ability to work as a fantastic team to conquer the course.

Later in the year we were so proud and honoured to be awarded the Protrade United Business of the Year Award at this years Protrade United Gala Night. We could not have done this without our amazing team and without the support of our wonderful clients and suppliers. We are able to do what we do because of you guys, Thank you!

We celebrated the year that was by hosting another knock out Christmas party to celebrate with our staff our amazing achievements through out the year. We danced, we laughed, we swam, we paddle boarded, we drank and we ate some amazing food while cruising along the Broadwater with our entire team. There were sunkissed bodies but we felt it was a great celebration of the year that was.

With 2020 providing us with its own set of challenges we are so proud of everything we were able to accomplish and how far we come as a team and business. We look forward to seeing what 2021 has in store for us and to giving back to our biggest supporters. #WELOVEYOU
